Care UK’s organisational aim is to enable people to live fulfilling lives whatever their health and care needs. This led to ‘Fulfilling Lives’; a mission statement underpinned by the belief that, for Care UK’s service users, quality of life is as important as the care they receive.
In summary, their top three challenges were therefore to:
Ensure all 14,000 staff members were consistently delivering upon the new external brand promise to the customers
Bring together newly acquired businesses who did not share the sense of identity or common purpose across the group
Engage with leaders to lead this change agenda from the front and consistently role model what the group expected so the new ways of working would ultimately spread throughout the organisation.
Around 400 managers from across the business then joined our ‘Fulfilling Lives’ Journey. This begun with a launch event held at the International Conference Centre in Birmingham. At the event, managers were equipped to deliver the ‘Fulfilling Lives’ messages and expectations to their teams and tasked with running a values session within their team. This enabled them to discuss, plan and evaluate how values would be role modelled in everything they do.
