Organisations do not invest in 360 degree feedback programmes for the goodness of their health, but rather to develop their employees to support their organisational journey, so they can deliver on their business goals. t-three were therefore very excited to work in partnership with the British Council to deliver a fully customised 360 degree feedback programme designed against their behavioural framework for their managers and employees to drive their organisational goals and development.
To ensure the British Council got the most out of their 360 programme, we worked collaboratively to review their new British Council Behaviours and ensure they translated into effective 360 questions. The British Council has 3 levels of behaviours, each of which became a separate 360 questionnaire so a participant could access the relevant questionnaire depending on their current role and level within the British Council.
The British Council’s objectives were two-fold:
- to help embed the new British Council Behaviours
- to inform personal development
We worked extensively with the British Council to create briefing and communication documents that could be used and accessed by anyone involved in the 360 process. These materials helped explain why the British Council had undertaken this piece of work and how it would add value to individuals’ development and the organisation as a whole. These materials were circulated and presented ahead of the 360 going live to ensure maximum engagement from all participants.
The British Council found the 360 so effective that they asked t-three to deliver 360 degree feedback training to equip them with enough internal resource and capability to deliver 1:1 360 degree feedback sessions internally. As the British Council is the UK’s organisation for international cultural relations, their internal coaches and HRBP's are spread all over the world and we therefore delivered this interactive training via Webex from the British Council's London offices.
Experienced t-three coaches support the internal capability by also delivering some of the 1:1 360 feedback coaching sessions.
