Great Line Manager was delivered to 4,500 leaders around the world. Development needs analysis was carried out, to identify what leaders and managers needed to do differently to enable and sustain change.
The programme was delivered across 17 countries around the world including Australia, Russia and South Africa, and has allowed Jaguar Land Rover to mature the business to reflect their scale and complexity.
After consultation, key outputs included a global toolkit for all line managers, including best practice guidance on key activities, and a flexible skills programme to upskill in key behavioural areas. Finally, an app was created to promote knowledge sharing and discussion, and to offer nudges and tips in line with the HR cycle plan.
The Great Line Manager programme was Highly Commended at the Business Culture Awards in 2019.
98.5% of participants agreed that they would recommend the programme, and participants revealed a significant increase in self-awareness and confidence in their management skills.
