Part 2
To design a personalised Development Centre tailored specifically to meet an individual's needs in order to broaden and develop their skills and capability, so that they are ready for a future senior role.
Step 1
Completion of an on-line 360 feedback based on ‘Emotional Intelligence’ behaviours plus an on-line personality profile called Facet5.
Step 2
Attendance at a one day Development Centre where the individual completed a range of activities designed to demonstrate competencies relevant to senior managers at Balfour Beatty - All observed by a t-three observer.
Step 3
A one-to-one coaching session with the t-three observer, where they discussed personal feedback, and worked through a report that make the links between the 360 and Facet5 data, and what the observer saw.
Individuals later had the opportunity to discuss any other development or career related issues. The output of the coaching session was the beginning of a personal development plan, which included a personal development report prepared by the t-three consultant which was later shared with the participants line manager.
